THE SHERWOOD DOWSER

This article chronicles my continuing adventures exploring significant places around the SW tip of the Sherwood Forest Pentagram. This time I started by visiting the Church of St Mary Magdalene at Hucknall, 2.5 miles south of Newstead Abbey, and ended up back at Annesley Old Church, seemingly at the behest of the consciousness of the poet Byron. I didn't have any luck trying to find an alignment (ley) that I found on a map connecting Annesley Old Church to Hucknall Church. However I did manage to confirm that both Church services and the playing of healing music cause these straight Leys to expand and become energised, effectively turning into what Dowsers term "Energy Leys".
