PART 02. NEWSTEAD ABBEY

This article describes the dowsing I did at Newstead Abbey on the same day as I visited Annesley Old Church in July 2021. Newstead Abbey is a former priory that sits at the SW corner of the Sherwood Forest pentagram and was once owned by the poet Lord Byron. As well as dowsing another "Beacon Tree" and several energy currents overlaying underground water, I was led to Byron's Oak and the tomb of his beloved Newfoundland dog where I became entangled with the consciousness of this enigmatic poet and was drawn to help more nature spirits return to Newstead.
